Ensuring a Secure and Welcoming Environment
UAPB is committed to providing a safe and secure campus for all students, faculty, and staff. We have implemented a comprehensive campus safety program that includes several essential services aimed at maintaining safety, enhancing security, and ensuring effective communication during emergencies. These services include Parking and Vehicle Registration, Police and Public Safety, UAPB ID Card issuance, and the RAVE Alert system. By utilizing these comprehensive safety services, we aim to provide peace of mind and ensure that our campus remains a secure place for all.
Parking and Vehicle Registration
To maintain an organized and secure parking environment, all vehicles on campus must be registered with the university. Our Parking and Vehicle Registration service ensures that all vehicles are properly documented, providing students, faculty, and staff with designated parking areas. This system helps manage parking resources effectively, reduces unauthorized parking, and enhances overall campus security.

Our dedicated Police and Public Safety department is the cornerstone of campus security. This team of trained professionals works around the clock to ensure the safety of everyone on campus. Their duties include patrolling the campus, responding to emergencies, conducting safety workshops, and collaborating with local law enforcement agencies. Their presence and proactive measures help create a secure environment where everyone can focus on their academic and professional pursuits.
The UAPB ID Card is an essential tool for accessing various campus services and facilities. It serves as an identification card, library card, and access key to residence halls and other secured areas. The ID card system not only streamlines access to campus resources but also enhances security by ensuring that only authorized individuals can enter certain buildings and areas.

Communication during emergencies is crucial, and our RAVE Alert system ensures that all members of the campus community receive timely notifications. By signing up for RAVE Alerts, students, faculty, and staff can receive instant messages via text, email, and voice calls about critical situations such as severe weather, campus closures, and other emergencies. This system helps keep everyone informed and safe during unexpected events.
