Student Orientation Registration

Are you ready to join the pride?

New Student Orientation (NSO) is a fun and engaging orientation experience for incoming freshmen and transfers designed to introduce you to the university and jumpstart your transition to college life. The goals of orientation are to:

  • Meet your academic advisor and receive your fall schedule of classes,
  • Hear from faculty, staff, and NSO Staff members about what to expect in your first year,
  • Meet other incoming students like yourself,
  • Get your UAPB student ID card,
  • Apply for housing and/or receive your housing assignment.

You MUST be admitted in order to participate in NSO.

Admission Checklist

  • Submit Online Admissions Application
  • Provide ACT or SAT Test Scores
  • Immunization Records
  • Provide Official High School Transcript (must be provided before NSO session you’ve registered for)

New Student Orientation Dates

  • July 12
  • July 26
  • August 9

Registration & Parking

Registration check-in will be from 8:00AM – 8:45AM in the Henderson-Young (Auditorium) Building.

Parking will be at the Larrison Hall and the L.A. Davis, Sr. Student Union parking lot.
