IT Policies and Guidelines
IT policies and guidelines define how Technical Services will approach security, how employees (staff/faculty) and students are to approach security, and how certain situations will be handled.
This website serves as a rulebook and roadmap for successfully and properly utilizing the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) technology resources. Careful consideration should be taken to verify that one’s actions fall within the authorized parameters for access, utilization, distribution, and modification of UAPB’s technology resources set forth within these policies.
Any misuse, misappropriation, negligence, or deliberate disobedience concerning these policies and procedures will not be tolerated. It is up to each individual employee and affiliate of UAPB to familiarize themselves with the policies and procedures set forth herein.
These policies are subject to change at any time. Technical Services recommends an occasional review of the policies and procedures.
