Johnny B. Johnson

Built in 1991, The Johnny B. Johnson Housing Complex was named in honor of Dr. Johnny B. Johnson, former Chancellor of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. J.B.J. has nine buildings and houses a total of 288 male & female students in double occupancy rooms. The Upperclassmen Honor Suites are located at J.B.J. Occupancy at JBJ is limited to those students with a minimum of 30 hours and a minimum GPA of 2.5. Preference is given to those students with at least two semesters of on-campus residency. Current freshman students are not assigned until the spring semester grades have been posted. Room and meal rates are subjected to change each academic year.

Double rooms – $2,100 per semester

Commons Building

24-hour vending machines, wheelchair accessible, security cameras, furnished lobby, computer lab, study room, landscaped courtyard, card-access system, laundry facilities, dining facility, television, and multi-purpose room.

8 students are assigned to a 4 bedroom suite that has:
2 Regular Twin beds
2 Pedestal desks
2 Desk chairs
2 Chests of drawers
2 Wardrobes
2 Bathrooms
Window with blind
Kitchen with sink, refrigerator and microwave
Sitting area with 2 loveseats and table with 4 chairs
Cable TV service
Wireless internet access
Air conditioning/heating
Smoke detector
All furniture is movable.
