At the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), some of the most meaningful learning takes place through involvement in student activities and organizations. Getting involved gives you the opportunity to build leadership and communication skills, connect with fellow students, faculty, staff, and administrators, and discover the many resources available to support you on campus.

Being active outside the classroom helps you grow both personally and professionally. Students who participate in extracurricular activities often develop stronger academic goals, clearer career plans, and greater confidence as they prepare for life after graduation. These experiences encourage collaboration, responsibility, and long-term success.

With more than 150 registered student organizations, UAPB offers something for everyone. Whether your interests are academic, cultural, social, professional, or service-based, there is a place where you can belong. The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership works closely with campus and community partners to support service-learning and leadership opportunities that allow students to give back while building meaningful connections.

Students who want to join an organization, explore special interests, or assist with planning campus events are encouraged to contact the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership or reach out directly to an organization’s officer or advisor. All student organizations are approved based on their ability to complement students’ academic training and overall development. One of the University’s goals is for every student to be actively involved in at least one organization, supporting a well-rounded college experience.
