“I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff May 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science Business Administration degree with a concentration in Marketing. One of the most impactful events throughout my collegiate experience was YMTF and it continues to influence my everyday success. During undergrad, I had the opportunity to intern three consecutive summers with various organizations which lead to full time employment with a Fortune 500 company. Being a student liaison for professional consultants opened my eyes to what it means to be successful and the importance of giving back and teaching. I learned the importance of building skill sets and experiences while in college that will help build resumes. The importance of networking and how to network with a purpose. I also learned how the prep for interviews and close successfully. Furthermore, I learned the importance of having mentors and advocates truly invested.
