To the LIONS Parents

Parents and families are crucial partners in their students’ success at college and we are excited to work with you to help your student transition to our community! We have so many programs and support systems in place to ease that transition for them and our hope is to be there, every step of the way from an interest in UAPB to Commencement day. UAPB is a special place and we are glad you are here.

Our professional staff are dedicated to student success, we know that there may be questions and concerns. We are available to assist you and welcome opportunities to partner with you for the benefit of our students. We view our students as young adults who need guidance and opportunities to explore and cultivate their development, so it is imperative that we provide policies and procedures that not only help in creating an environment conducive to learning but a community that promotes and fosters growth.
