Curricula and Degree Plans

The Music Department offers a Bachelors of Science degree in Music with three emphases - Teaching, Sound Recording Technology, and Non-teaching. Successful completion of the Teaching emphasis results in licensure in the state of Arkansas. The Non-Teaching emphasis currently allows for concentrations in two different areas - Business/Marketing, and Mass Communication/Theatre. Curriculum changes in the departments of Multimedia Communication, English, Humanities and Foreign Languages (Theatre), and in the School of Business may require course substitutions in these areas.
