1.  L. W. & Carutha Johnson Scholarship-The late L. W. Johnson and his wife, outstanding educator and alumni, present annually a tuition scholarship in honor of their daughter, Dr. Lois J. Faucette. This scholarship is awarded to an English major exhibiting excellence.
2. O. E. Jackson Award- The daughter of Mr. O. E. Jackson annually present, in honor of their father, a cash award to a conscientious and reliable honor student who has a keen interest in foreign languages.
3. Elmer & Jo Ann Miller Bell Scholarship- This scholarship will be awarded to a full-time student in English (even year) and Art (odd year) who has completed 30 semester hours of study and has a GPA of 3.00 or above. The student must show interest in the department and campus activities and exhibit leadership potential.
