History Club

The purpose of the History Club is to promote interest in history. Membership is open to all UAPB students with an interest in history regardless of major. The History Club participates in a variety of activities including tutoring, volunteer activities, and taking part in campus events.

Phi Alpha Theta

Students who have completed twelve semester hours in history and maintained a 3.0 GPA are encouraged to join Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society for history. Phi Alpha Theta provides students with opportunities to practice the craft of history, win scholarships, and meet students and professors from other history programs throughout the United States.
