Arkansas Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (ARK-LSAMP)
UAPB is a member of the National Science Foundation funding of STEM alliances to increase the number of underrepresented minority students in STEM majors and graduates from campuses that have developed a collaborative plan with a shared vision to increase the number of underrepresented minority STEM professionals.
STEM Scholars Academy
The National Science Foundation (NSF) awards HBCU-UP grants to help increase the number of under-represented minority students (URM) in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) has formed partnerships with eight targeted school districts and with research institutions in planning a comprehensive program to increase the number of URM students in STEM areas.
