Esteemed and worthy, assuming responsibilities, joining together in affection — they share and divide pains, endure mistakes, and face incidents. Some are guided by justice and the law, avoiding negligence and performing their duties with care, presenting themselves honorably, refusing those who deceive, remaining wise, patient, and truthful, even for a time enduring temptations and desires.
Accused of some wrong, they act with courage, kindness, and diligence, embracing joy in duty, speaking distinctly, showing compassion for others, working hard, enduring obstacles and burdens. They name us their own, hating deceit, seeking to provide for others, rejecting falsehood, wise and steadfast through passing times and temptations.
Harsh trials and challenges divide them; yet, in moderation and fairness, they remain constant, often enduring truth and fullness of life.
